Water journey™

An interactive system inspired by natural water flow, where users explore, control, and shape their own play experience.

Boy plays on sand

Unique

This unique water play family with six play options is especially appealing to children aged 2-5. Each design invites children to change their surroundings, as if they were in real life. Inspired by rivers, tides and mountain peaks, Water Journey offers highly tactile experiences about the dynamics of a truly natural landscape. Water Journey™ Labyrinth, Race and Tide Pool are four land models modeled after streams and sandy beaches. Each unique playscape uses lifelike models to create stimulating play experiences!

Labyrinth

Labyrinth

The journey begins when the children release the first cascade of water from a pressure pump. The water rushes through the various formations. All the while, locks, mills and sieves change the path of the water.

Tide pool

Tide pool

With the Tide Pool, children can sit back, enjoy some quiet time, and observe the rising tide filling every crevice. Children can play “stepping stone” or sit on stones of different sizes and guide the water on its way towards the shallow part.

Race

Race

Consisting of two parallel tracks, Race introduces a bit of competition by getting floating objects to make it all the way to the end of the track as quickly as possible.
Along the way there are adjustable tools that affect the water flow.

Hope N°2

Hope N°2

Jump between and step on these textured rocks and they spray their soft jets of water higher into the air. Promotes balance and coordination. The ground construction is textured and facilitates easy contact for all ages and abilities. Demonstrates cause and effect by interacting with spray functions.

Pico

Pico

Introduces children to tactile play. It features unique textures on each side. A cascading spray at the top of the mountain releases water into every nook and cranny as children explore the flowing surfaces.

Alto

Alto

Featuring a larger surface area and wider indentations for even more tactile play experiences, it is equipped with a rotating diverter that manipulates the water flow.

Inspired designs

All six options address young children’s cognitive, social and motor skills through a series of open-ended play events. With MAZE , locks and water wheels teach cause and effect.  RACE brings out young children’s competitive side-by-side with two tracks, while TIDE POOL encourages calming skills.

A new dimension to Water Journey™ , Pico and Alto are eye-catching formations that mimic rocky landforms. Designed for ages 2-5, these toys splash, squirt and flow to engage children’s cognitive skills. Finally, Hop combines coordination with cause and effect learning. The textured rocks have a soft spray that increases or decreases in intensity depending on the amount of pressure.

Nature's way of playing

Healthy, dynamic play is tactile: it’s skipping rocks on an archipelago island, it’s being king or queen of the mountain, it can even be something as simple as following a twig down a meandering stream. Inspired by the way the world around us flows, Water Journey™ combines natural play, inviting children to move and change their surroundings. These carefree play spaces allow parents to step back and watch their children collaborate, compete, solve problems and learn something new.

Landscapes and configurations

Of course, it’s all up to you how it’s put together. In fact, Water Journey™ engages the same kind of play for designers and landscapers as it does for children.
With Labyrinth ,  Race and Tide Pool , two or even three different landscapes can be combined into one large play area. Combine the tranquility of Tide Pool with the competitiveness of Race and explore   the different flowing paths of Labyrinth .
Additionally, Pico and Alto are available in three distinct configurations with unique spray features and interactive play accessories.

To lead children in new directions, Hop is available in two triple variants that, when combined, create winding paths!

More and more, municipalities, water parks and resorts are looking for innovative ways to encourage a return to nature. Children are curious, adventurous and imaginative. When a play space invites them to develop new insights or skills, they enthusiastically accept the challenge. They respond with deeper engagement, longer visits and bigger smiles.
