The foundation is quality everywhere

The company “Vortex Aquatic Structures International”, headquartered in Montreal, Canada, was founded in 1995 with the introduction of the concept of “Splashpad”. Continuous use of the best possible quality materials combined with unique, inspiring design and advanced level of development and technology, has created and built the company’s position as a world leader in water and playground solutions, urban environments, parks, campsites and water parks.
In addition to its Montreal operations, Vortex International has regional sales and technical support offices in the United States, France, Spain, China, Germany, Sweden and Denmark. Vortex Aquatic Structures International also has a global marketing and distribution network supporting Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Australia and Latin America. The entire Scandinavian region is covered from the office in Denmark, in collaboration with the CADO Group office in Sweden.
With over 7,500 installations in 50 countries, our mission continues to lead the way, including by constantly developing the best, most fun, most stylish and most innovative products for water-loving families and children of all ages, and for people with disabilities and challenges.

The play value is planned from the beginning

We work thoroughly on the initial points when a new Splashpad® is to become a reality. We start by interviewing the responsible operational and financial key people. We also often talk to other professionals involved in a project such as architects, landscape architects, gardeners and others, but of course also park managers, operations managers, amusement park managers and pool suppliers. The information collected is part of our preparatory work before we can come up with the first solution proposals. We have our own specialists, landscape architects and graphic designers who together select product proposals and design plumbing and electrical drawings, recycling facilities, technical drawings and 3D drawings.
We work methodically and carefully.

Vortex solutions are designed in such a way that there is room for success. With over 250 different functions, many types of water play can be chosen, all of which require more or less space. We know the movements of the water in the individual function and therefore we can plan so that it also works well in the real world, when the solutions are later put into use. We also know a lot about how many square meters can be recommended for each person on site. With knowledge, you can avoid unpleasant surprises.

Unique technology and many patents

Since 1995, Vortex International has developed a large number of unique concepts, technologies and patents that have helped create the position as one of the world’s leading manufacturers and suppliers in the water field.
Particularly well-known are:

SEEFLOW – Promotes colorful reflections, created by the combination of bright colors, sunlight and water.

TOEGUARD – The base of the tools is protected by a specially soft rubber cup, so that little toes are not injured.

TURNTECH – The functions can easily rotate 360 degrees and start/stop of water in certain directions can be controlled.

SAFESWAP – Units can be easily moved and replaced without rebuilding the entire area.

The material

Vortex always uses premium materials and meets the criteria of all major manufacturing methods, ensuring that products and solutions are reliable, durable, and resistant to chemicals and vandalism.
Worth mentioning are:

STAINLESS STEEL – Very high quality with at least 25% recycled material.

SEEFLOW – Unique to Vortex and made with up to 40% recycled material.

BRASS – Spray head, ground sprays and other important parts are made of the finest brass.

Infinite color combinations

The bright, beautiful colors can be combined in something close to infinite. A number of elements can also be delivered in a polished pure metal version, where there are very few colors on parts of the products. All colors are of the highest quality, resistant to weather, wind and vandalism. They can be painted on all our tools and give architects a palette of possibilities.
