The City of Stockholm wanted to offer the residents of Husby a true water playground, and CADO Sweden was contacted through an architect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The collaboration between the architect, the users, and the experts resulted in several possible solutions, and in the autumn of 2019, a contract was signed for the delivery of a facility featuring Vortex equipment, concepts, and water management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the spring, excavation, concrete work, and installation were completed so that the water playground could open in early summer 2020, allowing everyone to enjoy refreshing water play throughout the summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Today, the whole family can play with the many water features and splash around in two separate areas: one designed for toddlers and another for older children and adults. The water playground is designed as a zero-depth system, cast without edges and level with the surrounding area, allowing wheelchairs to easily and comfortably access the site, while people with reduced mobility can play alongside other children. It creates joy and excitement!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
